Ernie Rojas brought it up last week at the Potomac River Smallmouth Club meeting. I've written a letter to Mr. Mark Peterson (mpet...@loudounwater.org), Executive Director of Stakeholder Relations, Loudoun Water, asking that Loudon Co reconsider a more reasonable way to do this project than a blanket 4 year prohibition on all public access. Hopefully he'll reply this week; if so I'll let you know. However I'd encourage any of you who also think this is over the top to likewise voice your opinion with Mr Peterson and Loudon County officials.
I'm really unhappy about the news of them suddenly shutting off access. The main attraction of the place for a determined angler is that is not heavily pressured because it is hard to walk the shoreline and there is no boat ramp, but is a fairly large and beautiful body of water, and it's nearby.
