Kayak Launch Sites for Shad?

New to Shad fishing. Where are the locations in and around Fletcher's to launch a kayak? Thank you.

Park at the south end of Fletcher's parking lot. 100yds across the park to put in. Helps if you have some wheels.

I was under the impression that fletcher's did not allow people to launch their own boats at their site? When I called and asked what the fee would be they told me that it wasn't allowed/done. Do you have to walk down or upstream to put in?

See my related post in the other thread - but when you get to the lot drive the river side of the lot all the way to the turn. At the turn, look to the right - there will be a kind of trail down to the water - like JKunic says about 100 yards. This is where everyone puts in. It is obvious once you see it and later in the season masses of fishing kayaks, canoe, and my raft will be loading and unloading here every afternoon.

I"ve been putting my kayak in at Fletchers for years. Like others said launch at far end of lot. There is a access road/path but there is a chain across so you have to carry from the lot to the river.

Is Fletcher renting rowboats yet? I'd like to try to get out one morning this week when it isn't as busy.

Yes they are renting. Weekends are always a challenge.
