Stowe, VT advice?

Heading up to Stowe, VT area this weekend for a family reunion. I will have an afternoon or two to fish. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to go or fly shops to checkout? I will be near the Waterbury Reservoir and I think have access to a kayak so I can always fish the lake. But I would love to fish some streams for trout. I will have my 3wt and 5wt.
