Anyone have any information on recommendations for fishing Iceland? Specifically for Trout or Char?

I'm considering planning a trip to go there and really have no requirements as far as what time of the year. The only thing I have been able to figure out is that Atlantic Salmon fishing for the most part is going to be too expensive.

If memory serves me right, I believe Kiki Galvin went a couple of years ago, so you may want to get in touch with her.  (She's generally at the NVATU meetings.)

I do leave open the possibility that I am completely misremembering however....

A guy I follow on youtube, his channel is Wish4Fish, just did a trip, got some nice video and I believe has some contacts you could reach out to. I have also been eyeing a trip to Iceland.

Charlie - I went to Iceland last year and used Yellow Dog outfitters. They put me together with a great local guide service.  We caught some really nice brown trout and the whole trip went very smoothly.
