Do you find yourself constantly wondering, "When is the next Beer Tie?" Does your family keep scheduling activities when you should be at Beer Tie? Do you like colorful drawings of flies?

Well, I have good news: the TPFR 2026 Beer Tie calendar is here! You can print it out, stick it to your fridge, or just carry a digital copy in your phone. You'll always know when it's time for the next Beer Tie.

You might notice a couple of changes this year. First, Beer Ties are now the second Monday of the month, rather than following Casting Church. We did that to make scheduling more consistent.

Second, each Beer Tie has a theme. You can still tie whatever you want (or nothing at all), but we plan to have demonstration tyers working on each night's theme, so that folks can share techniques and get new ideas. (If there's a night where you want to show off your skills, let a TPFR board member know and we'll set you up as a demo tyer.)

See you at the next Beer Tie! (Note the change in location per Owen's previous message; we're now at The Board Room, 925 N. Garfield St, Arlington, 22201.)

best,
Miles
