any fishing report from Lake Needwood or Lake Frank?

i've fished there for 3 hours this morning and i couldn't even get a bite.

saw lot of rising so i threw topwater for half an hour but no luck. then i changed to lipless crankbait to hug the shaded shore but nothing.

and lastly, threw senko around the dock....... 

Am i fishing with wrong lures or something?   

Ps. Cop showed up and check my fishing license in needwood lol this is the first time i saw a cop checking fishing license.
