Fishing around Pohick

It’s been a long time since I’ve visited the forum! Hope all is well! I have next weekend May 4th to do some fishing. I’m considering camping at Pohick and fishing for bass and snakeheads in the nearby Virgina tribs between Little Hunting And Leesylvaibia. Looking for any advice on specific spots/access/conditions. I’ll be bringing my canoe. I’m not sure how to access is LHC. Is there a decent way to launch a canoe there? Thanks!
