BEER TIE - Mon 9 May

Monday 9 May will be our Beer-Tie at Colony Grill.

The fishing season is picking up. I have had some bang up days fishing for shad and smallmouth bass, fishing both the Potomac and the Rappahannock rivers.

I have a new personal best smallmouth (see picture), 20.5 inches and 4.75 lbs, thanks to William Heresniak, from Sunday on the Rappahannock.

Come on out and meet your fellow anglers, bring your fly tying material and your fly tying questions.

Festivities begin at 7pm.

What is that fly?  It looks like something I use to clean wine glasses.

Last  Beertie  there was some talk about a raffle or silent auction. Is that going to be at this one coming up ? Or sometime in the future ?
