Everytime I drive past the Marriott Hotel Pond next to Dulles, I promise myself that I will head out an hour earlier and fish it next time I am flying out of Dulles. Given its size and amount of apparent structure, my guess is that it should hold plenty of nice bass.  Wondering if any of you guys, have ever thought the same and given it a go, and whether its worth checking it out...

I've had the same thought! I haven't fished it, yet, though...

Let us know if you do!

That pond is airport property and there is no fishing allowed.

I found that out 25 years ago.....after giving it a try.

Take it from someone that works there when I say whatever fish are coming out of any water on that property are absolutely disgusting. There's a lot of chemicals in those grounds. Asides from Lake Marriott, the streams in the Dulles "Backcountry" have some pretty decent fish. Alas, no fishing there unless you're an MWAA employee. Sorry for the teaser :D
