Potomac Snakehead Tournament

Hey guys,

I know most of you are already aware of the Potomac Snakehead Tournament that’s been talked about here.  Both TPFR and Urban Angler are sponsors of the event.

I’ve fished in the event previously, and always have a good time.  In the past it’s been me and Grizzly’s brother (conventional tournament bass angler) and although we spooked a ton of fish, we had a good time nonetheless.  We wound up having a good time catching bass all day on topwater.  If we were in a bass tournament, we’d have placed extremely high… there were some pretty hefty largemouth caught.

One of the things I decided to do this year was actually put together a solid team of anglers to better the odds of competing.  I’m looking for 6 kayak/canoe guys that would like to be part of an angling team for Urban Angler.  Some perks:

• All anglers on our team are not subject to the entry fee for the tournament, as we’re sponsors.
• All anglers receive an Urban Angler hat, 16lb. leader, and a selection of 7 flies that have worked for snakehead  
• Free beer and snakehead at the event
