Trout Stocking Dates

On MDs DNR page they lists October 5th as the trout stocking date for some streams in Howard County (and many others). I just called the info line and they haven't been stocked. Does anyone know if this is just par for the course? Are stocking dates just estimates?

Yeah, I think they wait for favorable conditions and the listed dates are just ballpark.
