LOCATION: Four Mile Run from Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden to Potomac River
INCIDENT: Sewage Release *Update*
IMPACT: A clog has been cleared from the sanitary sewer line and the stream is being flushed. Continue to avoid contact with Four Mile Run downstream over roughly the next 48 hours.

So you're saying we *shouldn't* be using our filtration straws to refresh ourselves on 4 Mile the early part of this week? Good to know!

Ha!  I’m just passing on the facts; do with them as you choose.  Personally, I’m going to use one of those Camelbak bottles with the UV light! 💩🚰

I'm sure that will do the trick, Greg. (We'll visit you in the hospital 😀)

Seriously though, great notice, and thanks for forwarding. In general, I also give the streams and rivers 2-3 days after any heavy rain event to let the e. coli and other bugs settle down.
