C&O Canal access fees?

I'm a little torqued off that during the December meeting with Superintendent Brandt at East Potomac Park when he mentioned that he has a revenue source for C&O Canal from the Great Falls Tavern entrance did not mention the pending "civic engagement" concerning more widespread collection of user fees.

Good eye Jeremy. I might be for a $3 parking pass (I made that number up, the link doesn't include a figure) if I thought it would support rangers coming out and preventing poaching/netting/etc. But they charge $15 for a DC licence and that doesn't appear to be enough so IDK.
