With all of this rain the streams that I wanted to fish are gong to be blown out. This pushes me to do some salt water fly fishing on Monday.
I am thinking of fishing Piney Point. There is a public launch there and I can launch my kayak there.
The tides show that high tide is really early in the morning so I would have to make a very early start to get there since my drive time is just about 2 hours. I guess that it is best to fish the outgoing tide and about 2 hours after high tide would be the best fishing window.
Anyone on here fish this area? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have fished somewhat near that area many times and have done very well.
I wouldn't kill yourself to fish an outgoing tide right now. That's going to be dirty water with low salinity with all of this rain.
Incoming should be cleaner.
