Volunteering Opportunities?

Hi All,

Just got a new job with a company with community service mandate and I was wondering if there are any upcoming conservation opportunities in the VA / DC area?
Looking for anything that would get me outside and next to some water, even if it's picking up trash.

Resources to help me find such opportunities would likewise be helpful.

Their RiverSmart program is doing a lot of cool water rainwater projects in the District.
