Hi,
Anybody have first hand knowledge of the fishing opportunities in Asheville? I’m visiting for a few days next week and may be able to sneak away for a few hours. Anyone have any insights to assist me in deciding to bring equipment with me for this trip.

Hey Dan, I've fished the down there a couple times. A lot of water and choices ranging from the Davidson 5/6 wt to small high mountain streams 2\3\4 wt up in the blue ridge. Contact Davidson River Outfitters, they can give you options.
