Has anyone been in the last couple of days? Was hoping there was water coming out of the reservoir but thinking probably not due to lack of rain.
With water temps in the low to mid 50's I'm hoping stripers are starting to show up.

I havent fished it real recently but on October 28 the shad were stacked up in the back end of the river but didnt see any stripers yet. Did manage one LMB to avoid the skunk. Talked to two bass guys at the ramp who said the stripers were busting bait early in the day along the edges of the grassbeds below the Route 1 bridge. Water temps were mid 50s that day. Big crappie were also very active around I95 pilings. I might try again next Tuesday before the real cold spell hits.
