Any Spots on the New River, WV?

Hey guys. I'm heading to the New River in WV this weekend for a short white water rafting trip. I'm bringing along my rod in case I have some time to fish and was wondering if any of you new about good spots. I'm staying at the Holiday Lodge Hotel right off 19. It's just north of the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve. Since I'm not going to be in WV long, if I fish, it'll have to be close by. If anyone knows any spots in that area I'd appreciate it.
