Where is the best place around Arlington to catch fair size bass

I have been to 4mr and lake barcroft but only catch catch small fish, i went out to 4mr on thanksgiving and saw about 300 fish in Crystal clear 3 feet deep water, most panfish, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, white perch, saw about 50 small bass, a school of shad, and 2 fairly sized channel cats, I hooked into about 20 fish, mostly small panfish and a few small bass (5-7)". Im looking for some "real" fish and was wondering where the best place to find fair sized bass , either largemouth, smallmouth or stripper at this time of the year.

The tidal basin has some big largemouth as well as many other species.

I have also witnessed some nice smallmouth being caught at Fletchers on the Virginia side in the deeper holes recently.
