C&O Canal Water Level?

Howdy all,

I was down by Fletcher's a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the Park Service has started dropping the water level in the canal for the winter.  Does anyone know how far up this goes?  I was thinking of heading to Wide Water this weekend and putting the kayak in, but if the water level has been decreased there too, I'll head someplace else.
