white perch around?

Has anyone seen any white perch this weekend or past week? I am hoping to get out and toss a few streamers in some easier-to-fish spots along the river.

I've been looking and asking and so far nothing. I fished several days this week from shore and boat and caught no perch. I think we're still a bit early. I look forward to them too.

There was a guy at fletchers yesterday with a big catfish that he said he caught on some white perch he had caught earlier.  So there may be some around but i haven't seen any myself.

They are now abundant on the bottom in the midst of spawning.  So yummy.
