We could incorporate this with Dan's old idea of the "Shad Run"? Fish around Fletcher's or Chain Bridge and then run a 5-10k along the C&O Canal.

The trails towards chain bridge are fun to run along, the canal is great when the carp and bass are spawning. I spotted some huge bass this spring.

Lol -- I actually jog regularly (though not at any speed or great distance that would lead me to advertise it in decimal form) in addition to fishing, so I'm in the same boat.  

I debated it, and just decided to get a Grateful Dead sticker.

I've built a bridge between both worlds by running through trails to get to fishing spots sooner. Exercise + more fishing time = winning, in my book.

A caveat re this sticker - I've been trying to get these guys' attention for a couple of weeks now - I bought 2 at the end of April and I've not yet received them.
