Tidal basin report

I have to run into town for an errand and my fishing stuff's in the car already so I may as well get some time on the water in. Any word on how the tidal basin is?

With outgoing tide now stick to area between FDR and MLK. Fish along the wall and look for structure that will appear when tide drops. May be hard to see in this weather. Schoolies should be around today.

Thanks! I may wind up there later in the afternoon/evening (in which case I'll probably try and see if I  can finangle a spot at the head of the Washington Channel), or tomorrow after the job interview-didn't realize the weather would be this sucky and I left my raincoat at home.

Update: had some luck but uh did not realize how high up the water would be a low tide lol. Also an enormous largemouth took a like no. 8 wooly bugger somehow, which was exciting.

Also there were some p. large carp muddying along the seawall near MLK
