I’m partially disabled and can’t walk very far. Am I wasting my time fishing from the banks nearest to the parking lot? How about the pier that I see on Google Earth?

Man, that is tough. The "pier" is the dock that they launch boats off of. You won''t be able to fish there. You could maybe catch a shad from the bank near the parking lot but it will be a tough go. Can you use a rowboat? That is really the best way anyway.

The problem there is that the fish will be in the current, and the water in the cove isn't much. How are you in boats? If you're free during the day, I might be able to help you get on the water.
