Praise to my new G-d, the carp god of dc-- jeff silvan

For those of you who follow Jeff and know him, he is an avid carp chaser in DC.  You may have seen some of my prior posts about carp in silver lake in rehoboth.

this year for my vacation I forgot my carp box.  I emailed jeff to see if he could send me a few flies.  they arrived yesterday and today was my first time out on the carp hunt.

2nd cast-(yes it was good one right on his nose), he took it and ran unfortunately line wrapped around reel and broke off.

A few mins later, I got another shot on one.  Roll cast to his left, rolls on it and off to the races.  4 nice runs, not quite into backing but in a manner of 5mins I had 2 carp on.
