Hi All:

I will be taking my son and a friend Shad fishing this weekend on the Potomac from the shore/rocks.  Any suggestions where a beginner might have good luck?

Thanks,

Marc

How old are the boys?  I personally wouldn't take anyone under 13 out there for fishing from the rocks.  A boat is the way to go if they have them in the water.

+1 on the boat idea.  for $25 at Fletcher's you have it for the day. Put your cooler with food and drinks and you can move around the cove , and its much safer than the rocks.  Every few years someone falls in around chain bridge and drowns.   I use to take my kids ou ton the boat and they had a ball.
