Lower Gunpowder

Anyone ever fished the gunpowder below Loch Raven Reservoir (around Bel Air road)?  I'm moving to baltimore, and this water is going to be really close to me.  I'm going to try and go check it out this weekend.  I've hiked there before, and it's pretty big and fast water, but looked good.  Curious if anyone has ever tried fishing there, as it seems most people fish the C&R section below Pretty Boy.
