With the warm weather we've been adding I'm wondering where to head out. I  have a rare day off on Friday. Willing to drive a couple of hours if chances are good I'll get into something. Not sure where to find cooler water? Shenandoah ( have only fished Jeremys run) ? Gun Powder ( never fished it) Big or Little Hunting Creek, GW NF? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Most of Shenendoah is scheduled for an inch of rain on Friday and almost two inches on Saturday. I'm expecting some wash out conditions, so probably scrapping my own camping/fishing plans now - was headed to White Oak Canyon area.

A lot of access roads to places I enjoy will be pretty muddy and tougher to navigate in those storms. Best of luck!

Dry river or hughes/nicholson hollow - although weather may make the latter undoable. Perhaps there's some terrestrial action at mossy? You could ask the mossy creek ff folks.

If the rivers blow out, mossy creek will give you a good shot at a big fish on streamers.

Depending on local rain a lot fun the rivers are pretty well blown. The Casselman and Yough were dirty the past couple of days, by Friday they could be better if they don't get hit with a storm again.
