Nice fish, and the others in your linked photo album are great too.  It indeed looked like a fabulous day!  (Of course what day on the water while the rest of us are in the office isn't?) 

 

I don't spin fish, so I don't recognize the lure -- was that top water?

It's a tube bait about 4 inches in length with a 1/4 ounce or so jig head which allows you to drag it along the bottom.  I'm sure you can duplicate it with a fly.  Guessing there would be less casting involved.
