Clouser and Deceiver colors

Hi, I will be new to the fly fishing scene on the Potomac.  What would be the best color choices for Clouser minnows and Lefty Deceiver flies?   Assuming bass, rockfish, and shad.

Chartreuse and white is what i use pretty much all of the time but all white or gray and white have worked well for me also.
