With the NCC-TU show no longer happening, the Warrenton show is a fun, small show to go to.

Cool - thanks for the heads-up! Might have to go to this. Do you know if anyone will be selling custom flies? Didn't see that mentioned on the website.

I would expect so.  There should be a few people tying, but also some of the stalls will have people selling their flies along with whatever else they have.

This is a smaller, local show.  I really like it because of it's friendly atmosphere. It has the feeling of an summer arts fair.  There are bamboo rod makers, guides, shops,  maybe a vintage tackle dealer, but also people that are just clearing out there closet.

Where is the show?  My parents are from there and my dad and little brother might like to stop by for a bit.

A guy from my wife's office recommended this to me a few weeks ago.  Me and my wallet will be there.

Heading to it as well, does anyone have any recommendations for fishing in the Fauquier County area? I know vdgif seems to always post stockings at Lake Thompson. ~60 temps makes me think half and half fishing and the fly show make for a nice little Saturday.

I would recommend bringing a kayak or canoe if you hit Thompson Lake.

Hey, y'all know that a "brookie" is actually a cookie made into a pizza right?
