Anybody been to devil's ditch or big run in SNP recently? Any idea what water level is or should be now?

I used to help bale hay (square bale -- not the sissy round ones) back in Missouri in the summers and had my foot run over by the loaded trailer once.  All it really did was left a bruise -- no big deal.

Considering the two experiences independently, I'd lean toward the trailer over big run if I had to do either again in my lifetime.

Devil's ditch is nice -- did it last year.  There are other places nearby  if water is too low.  You're in the "ConRapiStan" over there.

I fished Big Run last month. Lots of good sized fish. Long hike out of there at the end of the day. Fished another stream last week, water levels are OK.

Fished Conway on weekend, water flow was good. The confluence at DD looked great....

How was it this past weekend? Am trying to decide for this Friday, any other suggestions welcome (my haunts have been the Rap, Conway and the Ditch).

rap is my fav and almost my only brookie stream I fish.  but after years, you start to name the fish and miss seeing them.   the farther past the first bridge you go the fewer people you see.

That's my plan as well. Love that section!

Any other sections worth a drive on the East side? Looking for an update on Conway, chance at some browns as well.

I was on the rap this past weekend. my first time there. I had 3 hits on dry flies, but I couldn't land them. We fished up to the 2nd bridge till about 1pm. only saw 2 other anglers.
lots of people camping/ hiking / riding horses though
