Anyone ever hit the streams around Thomas or Davis, WV?  Heading there this weekend after the WV football game for some brews and tunes and looking to wet some lines.  Also, any info on the Cheat River outside of Morgantown?  Any help is great--just looking for a place to go.  Thanks.  Also--caught my first Snake last weekend!

I am a student at WVU.  Have to miss the first game, coming back to fish the Pot with a friend.  The cheat has some small mouth in it.  Ive only floated it with a friend.  The area around 'blue hole' has some nice fish in it if you know where it is.  I cant really give directions, its one of those places where you just reconize turns based off this tree or that tire in the woods.  Big Sandy is a trib to the Cheat, ive heard of people hooking up with brookies in there and some smallies.  I have not fished it tho.  In WV I normally make the drive down to fish the Elk.
