rapidan fire road-anyone been on it lately?

Thinking about making a trip up to the Rap tomorrow with a coworker. Has anyone been up there lately? If so, is the road in decent shape for traversing? I've got a 4wd suv with good clearance but would rather not chance it if i can avoid. Thanks!

Haven't been up there since Thanksgiving.  Driving a stock GMC Yukon XL.  It is worse than it use to be when I was up there last summer.  But still very passable.  Few spots I had to go in reverse a few yards and pick a different line.  Worth the drive tho if your friend hasn't seen it.  I've fished from NY to AL and still brag about my hometown streams in the park.
