Ashad run

A fresh run of mostly American Shad is ongoing in the Fletchers Cove area. Color does not matter. Slack tide does. Should continue until the river goes up on Monday.

The shad were jumping like crazy this morning around 7 am. Every
direction and then some.

Caught a few in an hour, but not a bunch.

Thinking about a trip to Fletcher's this weekend to cast for Shad/Stripers. Is the action over?

Hoping the water clears by Friday and that Alex has some of his darts at the boathouse.

Based on similar water condition scenarios this year and past, the chances of a shad bite are 50/50 by Friday and improving slightly over the course of the weekend.  Boathouse is stocked last time I checked.
