This is a reminder to all that the next TPFR BEER TIE is TONIGHT from 7PM-9PM at Whitlow's on Wilson! Get there early for a prime spot! Details and directions to Whitlow's can be found on our EVENTS PAGE as can the BEER TIE dates for the rest of the year. Rob Snowhite will be tying foam beetles at the learning table tonight. We have lots of great stuff to raffle including a custom lanyard built by TPFRer Steve C. He'll also be showing those who are interested how to he makes them. Casey P. asked if we could tie her up some Golden Retrievers for the upcoming CFR Retreat, so I'll be providing the the necessary materials. If you'd like to tie a few, please see Casey and she'll hand you what you need and give you a quick tutorial.

Great -- we'll be there! Rob's foam beetles were the very first flies I started fishing almost exactly one year ago when Bethy and I took up the fly rod -- they're very effective and worth leanrning!

I just had 2 wisdom teeth extracted, so I'll be eating soft foods and drifting around in an oxycodone-cloud of fuzzy, pink happiness.
