Does anyone have ideas where I can take young kids to catch sunfish on bobber and worm?

Do you have an area you want to go fishing.  No sense telling you someplace 2 hours away.

The bridge at Lake Cook (not the wooden pier at the eastern end) is money for b-and-w fishing with little kids. Try in and around the nesting spots tight to the bridge.

My two boys and I were there this week in the late afternoon and caught 20+ in about an hour (we stopped counting!)

Sean
Can you please provide an address for Lake Cook? I have a couple of young ones who love to fish with a bobber and a worm.

Thanks,
Brian

Cook was a bit slow today. Water stained from storms. Small worms under a bobber worked best. One lady caught a large channel cat on lure or bait. We mostly fished structure and log piles.
