Shad report

I was able to get out on the river the last 2 days. Launched my kayak at Fletcher’s. The river is in good shape.  The bite came and went in several spurts. Drifted the cove several times each day  The lower end of the cove seemed better. Coolers that worked white, pink, chartreuse, fire orange.  This weeks weather should really get thinks going.  I managed about 2 dz to the boat each day and several long line releases in 5 hours of fishing each day. Hope to see many of my TPFR friends out there.

I was already thinking about my beer in my cooler,  Colors were white, pink, chartreuse, and fire orange.

Like golf, I find it really difficult to fly fish well and drink. I prefer to wait until after fishing!
