Fish Identification

I fished 4MR early this morning, hopeful that I would catch a long waited carp. I saw some carp grouped up and swimming around and they were staged in the middle of the water. Every cast I made, ended up spooking the carp. It was so frustrating that so many carp are in front of you and can't get them to take an offering.

After all, I managed pull this guy out with #8 nymph. I know It's tilapia, but I've never seen one so white.

I don't think it's albino. When I hook this guy there was four same fish under the water.

 

You never know what you gonna catch out there...

Fantastic. Carlos was talking about a white tilapia in there at beer tie. Spotted something that didnt look right on Sunday by the cement piling that we thought was a small tilapia. Bravo Todd.

Looks like it is albino to me.  It's hard to see if there is pigment in it's eyes or if they are red.

The Cichlids are good fighters - did this one live up to it's reputation?

Nice one, google "rocky mountain white tilapia" I was trying to catch this fish the other day but only ended up with a couple of carp LOL....was using worms.
