Has anyone been out to SNP recently?
Thinking about heading out this weekend, unless someone tells me its not worth it.

In general, I try to leave the fish alone when it gets hot. They have a hard enough time.

I would do some smallmouth fishing instead and wait until after Labor Day.  If you're after trout, head up to the Yellow Breeches for the whitefly hatch.  I might not try that on the weekend though, it might be combat fishing.

i strongly doubt it's worth it. SNP needs rain. Most of the streams are barely flowing. Head to the spring creeks if you want trout now.

For the Breeches, is it better to stay up by the Susquehanna or go way down into Michaux forest?

For the Yellow Breeches you want to concentrate on the stream from Boiling Springs and above. I've never caught trout in sections lower than the Allenberry Resort special regs stretch. Source: I went to law school in Carlisle.

Sorry for the stupid question but when you say lower than Allenberry, you mean towards the Susquehanna, right?

So fish upstream, away from the Susquehanna?

Correct. I mean lower as in lower in the river system. Now that I think about it, that also means physically lower too, since water flows downhill. Yes, I just had that epiphany in front of all of you.

That's cool misha. Knowing that you're a lawyer, I'm racing to come up with some kind of trumped up lawsuit so we can retire at 40. Do you do personal injury?

Haha, no, nothing as exciting as that. Estate planning. So don't do anything silly like spilling unreasonably hot coffee on your groin.

Well it's reassuring that only the best and the brightest receive their legal education at Dickinson.
