The year's first Beer Tie is coming up next Monday, January 9 at Whitlow's on Wilson in the Sandbar; doors open at 6PM and we'll get kicked out at 10PM. As always, the bar will have a beer special and half priced burgers. Come out and bring your vise, or just bring your appetite and thirst!

Rob Snowhite will be teaching the Hohbo Fly at the beginners table, a streamer designed for steelhead but I'm sure it works on our local warm and coldwater species.

Look forward to seeing everyone out Monday night!

The Hoh Bo. We'll work on dubbing techniques, palmering feathers, and tying with the fewest thread wraps as possible.

Here is a tutorial:

Do we need to bring our own materials?  This is my first time!

Bobby,

If you have a vise and materials, feel free to bring them. If not, we will supply materials and vises at the beginners table for those wanting to learn the Hoh Bo Fly.

Is there a materials list?  Should we use the list in the video that was included?
