I stopped in today to clean up on tails. Get there before the lines, tails, leaders, books, sunglasses and DVDs are gone. It's sad to see a fly shop closing doors especially a local one. Best of luck to the guys in there.

It's definitely heartbreaking to hear this. At one point, I think I literally stopped by that shop once a week on my commute home. That's definitely a good way to improve your commute.--The Urban Angler guys did a stellar job both running the shop and creating a friendly atmosphere.Thanks for everything guys.

Such a shame. They were always willing to answer all of my ridiculous questions and talk to me for however long i was in there.
I really appreciate all the help they've given me.
Damn, this sucks. My local should back in Buffalo (oak orchard flshop) just closed a couple months ago and now this. The internet is just killing these places.Does anyone know what the nearest flyshop is now? The one in Frederick?
