Donegal, Ireland this summer

Looks like I am heading to Donegal in late August for vacation. Anyone have any experience fishing there, with or with out a guide?

Cant speak specifically to Donegal, but got a guide out of Dublin in July '15. We fished 2 lakes and the harbor near Houth. Water temps in the lakes were up, and several of his usual targeted waters were closed to fishing due to water temps. I was spin fishing at the time, so perhaps spring fed streams wont be an issue for you, but id at least ask the question. Best of luck, and Tight Lines!
