I have been down there all week. Before the water muddied up around Wednesday evening it was on fire. Everything was biting in the flood. Carp are evrywhere

A few years ago I, Snowhite, John K, and Adam (forget his last name) ended up fishing a flood at the Tidal Basin together. Then a couple of park police rolled in and chased us out of the water. They told us it was illegal to wade in the Tidal Basin, and tried to put the fear of God in us. I don't think I've been back since, but I've had other stuff going on.

I justr love how the reporter writes that he used a pole. I doubt they employ copy editors at WaPo any longer; I guess those die in darkness too. ;-)
