Family trip to rose river farms this weekend. Ross on Friday and Sunday. Any tips on places to check out on Saturday?

How is the river approached? Are you wading in it? Or casting from shore? Can't really get a sense for what to expect and what I'll need to be doing thinking about based on the pics I see online.

Any tips greatly appreciated!

Curious if waders are necessary this time of year? Could you wet wade?

You can wade or cast from shore. You'll be fine wet wading, although I'd prob wear hip waders. Don't overthink RRF - it's literally the easiest place to catch a trout I've ever seen. It was the first place I ever fly fished for trout, and I landed over 30. In terms of places for Saturday, I'd suggest a spring creek or tailwater, although I don't know of any close to RRF. There are probably still some stockers in the rose, robinson, and hughes. Perhaps try the lower Hughes for stockers, then head up nicholson hollow for brookies. Use dries and/or hopper droppers.
