Been itching to get out fishing lately. and I'm wondering whether there is water in the canal, and whether we can even access the towpath or park anywhere?

Near Chain Bridge, there's water in the canal, but it's muddy. It's low. I think it will be a few years before it becomes the gem it once was.

There's probably water in the canal upstream of Pennyfield Lock, but because of the old diversion dam inlet at Violettes it's probably pretty damn murky. But it's been a couple, three months since I was last up there.

There were carp in the area just up from chain bridge this afternoon. Also been seeing them in the area of whatever bridge crosses the canal 2.5 miles upstream from fletchers.
