Nova Trout Unlimited Meeting with Matt Miles March 3rd.

Just a quick plug that friend and guide Captain Matt Miles will be speaking at the NOVA TU meeting this Thursday, March 3rd at the Vienna Firehouse. Matt Guides for Muskie, Smallmouth, Trout, and Stripers and is a super knowledgeable angler and guide. If you can make it out, it will be worth your time.

Another quick plug, George Daniel will be speaking at the Potomac Patuxent Chapter meeting on March 16 from 7-9. Admission is free. Located at Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Rd, Silver Spring, MD. 

I hate to post things that aren't immediately TPFR related but with George's reputation I figure a few people on this thread may find interest in this event.

Rob, thanks for posting this.  George is an awesome speaker and obviously an even better fisherman.  I saw his presentation on Dynamic Nymphing as well as read the book, really good stuff for anyone who wants to understand and try to tackle euro style (mostly czech) nymphing.  

Any idea what the topic is?  I'm assuming it's his new Strip-Set streamer book, but I don't think I saw Silver Spring listed on the tour schedule so was wondering if you might know,

Yes he will be talking mainly about the new book, Strip Set, though i'm sure he'll get asked plenty of questions on nymphing as well. I'm not sure if it's on his book tour list as the chapter is paying for him to come as a fundraiser ?  I can't speak to that with any certainty though. Ive attached the flyer I found on the pptu webpage. I hope this doesn't violate TPFR forum rules.

I heard his talk at the Western NC show last year. Great talk. He's a funny guy too. When you see pics of his fly craft boat you'll want one.
