I live in Alexandria, VA and just picked up a 16' jon boat. The total length package length is 20' 5". I visited one storage space off of Eisenhower but it didn't look very secure and most of the vehicles parked were in rough shape. Does anyone have recommendations for good storage options nearby? I plan to be using the boat through the fall fishing and winter duck seasons.

Thanks,
Ryan

Thank you for the suggestion. I called but their waiting list is so long that they are not even taking names!

Ive been though this, there are not many options unfortunately.  I ended up keeping my boat at Pohick Bay, its pretty cheap ~1200  year for my boat and trailer with a LOA of ~26 ft.

I keep my 16’ Wellcraft at that self storage place in Alexandria, off Eisenhower. It’s perfectly fine in my experience and very convenient. YMMV, obviously...

I keep my boat at AAAA storage in Arlington.  It's near Shirlington.
The lot is fine, but it's a bit pricey.  I think they charge me $175 per month.

Interestingly enough, a few years ago, NEW tenants were paying a lower rate, but they raise their rates each and every year.
Since then, I haven't been able to find their new customer rate on their website.  I may need to leave for a month and then come back as
a "new" customer to get lower rate  :-). ... but spaces are subject to availability, and sometimes they're full, so I'd be taking a risk if I left.

They have no power and no water available, but it's fine as a storage lot. I have no complaints.
