Buddy and I are looking for a good spot to take his airstream and do some fishing. He is not a huge fly angler, so ideally someplace we could chase panfish, bass or carp in addition to or instead of trout. We are looking for spots in Southeast PA and Maryland. Anybody know any good campsites near fishable water that rent boats?

You might want to think about the Delaware river. Camping on the mainstem, several places rent boats.

Yellow Breeches parking lot where the Appalachian Trail crosses. All those fish are in there plus white fly hatch!
