Currently the flow is 12000cfs and the gauge height is 4.17ft. Unfortunately water temp isn't listed on there.

I'm going to be at the beer tie monday. Would like to meet you and hook up to go after some shad on the Potomac as you described. There's a burger and beer in it for you if you like... :-)
I'll be meeting then with those interested in fishing the Jackson in April as well..
